I love getting to make Christmas cards early by taking part in the various Christmas challenges that can be found on the internet. This card was made for the Jingle Belles challenge which was to use plaid. This cute snowman image is from Rubbernecker. I used a plaid card from Paper Studio added a design paper that said Merry Christmas all over it and some glittery silver cardstock behind it. I punched the snowflakes with a Martha Stewart punch on white paper. I added gemstones to the centers. The image circle was cut using a Gina Marie die. The image was colored with Copic markers.
Here are the details for the Jingle Belles challenge:
I love that texty paper with the plaid ... happy to see you stocking your holiday card stash ... so very glad you went Mad for Plaid with us at Jingle Belles.
ReplyDeleteoh wow! the text paper (with it's perfectly fabulous glitter mat!) is SOOOO wonderful with the gorgeous blue plaid! And the diecut snowflakes set off the sweet snowman really well! What a great combination of elements! So happy you could join our Xmas Plaid celebration at Jingle Belles!
