HMFMC383

My House Mouse stamps make some of the most adorable Valentines and making Valentines is one of my favorite cards to make. The option on the challenge for this current challenge at HMFMC is to doodle on the card. I added a doodled border to the top edge and bottom edge of the design papers I used.  I also free handed my sentiment that I consider a part of my doodling.  Wishing very one a very Happy Valentine's Day!!

This is the lovely sketch for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge. You can find the details for the challenge here:

I used lots of my paper stashed scraps to design this card. I used some Sizzix die cut flowers and leaves, and the sentiment is a Tim Holtz Ideaology strip that says "Believe in the magic!"

Shop Your stash - Love is in the Air!

Valentines' Day is one of my favorite times of the year to make cards. Please browse my blog for all the ones I have been making already, and I am adding this one for a challenge for Shop Your Stash. Believe me I have quite a stash of papers, tools, and embellishments to make cards from now until eternity and everything that is on this card came from everything I had on hand. I guess I have to admit that after 20 years or more of paper crafting, that is kind of like going in a craft store with all the supplies and tools I have hoarded over those years. Here is the one I made with the theme "Love is in the Air." You can find the details of the challenge here:

You have a week left before the challenge is over, so go join in on the fun!!

Colorful Options challenge - pink

Trying out a new challenge today COLORFUL  OPTIONS, and the February theme is pink! So here is my card made from lots of pink scraps of design papers out of my enormous scrap pile. I pieced the strips and then cut out the heart with a Gina Marie heart die. Mounted in onto pink cardstock, added white die cut flowers and leaves, added a pink enamel dot center and stamped a sentiment from Stamdendous.

Crazy is our fame--stencils are our game challenge

I love this stencil from "A Colorful Life Designs" that I got just in time to make some wonderful Valentines. I paired it with these cute stamps from Unity. I added some puffy sticker hearts to add a little dimension to it. Thanks, Darlene for sharing this challenge with me:

Can you handle the pressure challenge - borders

I love my embossing folders and love finding new ways to use them. For the Can You Handle the Pressure challenge to emboss on the border, I embossed a panel to be my edge of the card, and cut this embossed image from an embossed glossy paper. I added it as the focal image of my card. The sentiment (a Tim Holtz ideaology strip) says Light the Way!  I love white on white cards especially for white on white cards.

Beyond Blue - white on white

This is for the Beyond Blue challenge to do a white on white card. I decided to make mine a Valentine (or it could be a wedding card). You can find the details for this challenge here:

I used a 3-D sizzix embossing folder on glossy white paper, die cut the heart (Gina Marie designs) and then embossed it with another 3_D sizzix folder, flowers are a sizzix die set, and the love is from Impression Obsessions (I think).  Added a few white pearls for embellishments.

Double D - Hearts

Valentines are some of my favorite cards to make during the year, so doing the Double D challenge today to use hears, is helping me get my stash ready for the special day. I used a stencil by "A Colorful life" for my background done with distress oxide ink. The mouse is from Sweet and Sassy and the sentiment is from Impression Obsessions.. The little added sparkles were a bonus gift sent with my stencil order from ACLD. You can find the details of this challenge here:
