MOJO MONDAY

Using an old SU flower stamp and a sentiment from Sweet and Sassy, I put these cute design papers together with some scraps from my scrap box. I am a little late getting this challenge done, but it is for Julie's MOJO MONDAY challenge that can be found HERE:  .https://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/p/mojo-monday.html

CCEE1922 - Bar B Que

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Frances here today with my last challenge as hostess this month. I hope you have enjoyed all the challenges I came up with.

Before we get to our challenge for this week, we have something very sad to let you know. Our dear team member Joanne Grzelak pass away suddenly on Saturday morning. Joanne had been on a leave of absence for a number of months due to health issue, but had intended to come back and play with us, shortly. Joanne was always so very supportive and was much loved in the stamping community. We will miss her so much, farewell Joanne.

May is apparently Barbecue Month and the 28th May is Hamburger Day…. Let's think BBQ's and/or Hamburgers when creating our cards this week …
Don't forget to come back here and link your card using Mr Linky at the bottom of the post if you play along this week.
Here is what our Design Team created for the challenge this week .

Color throwdown 545

Using the ColorThrowdown colors #545, I also made this card for the Sketch Challenge over on the Splitcoaststampers challenge today. The image is a Power Poppy digital and colored with alcohol markers. I used razzleberry, kraft and ivory paper.

CCEE1921 Dies

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Frances here again with another challenge for you all this week.

I don't know about you, but I seldom seem to create a card these days that doesn't include at least one die in it's creation. So our challenge this week is to create a card using at least one die.

Don't forget to come back here and link your card using Mr Linky at the CCEE blog site .www.cceestampers.blogspot.com
While you are there,  take a look at our Design Teams cards for this challenge ...

This die is from Gemini, and the sentiment is from Verve and the leaves from an old Stampin' Up set.
I used white embossing powder for the stamping. and versamark ink.

Just Us Girls 488

These pretty tulips on this inspiration piece were all I needed as inspiration tonight to make this card.
I used a Power Poppy digital and my alcohol markers for this and then I added a Verve sentiment.

Allsorts Challenge and Inspiration Challenge

I made this for the Inspiration challenge over on SCS today, and also for the Allsorts challenge today.
I always love having lots of birthday cards on hand. These peonies are a Power Poppy digital and the sentiment is from an old Stampin' Up set. I embossed the sentiment in white so that it would show up against that woodgrain background paper. I colored my image with alcohol markers.

Living with my internet all last week was not fun, but having fun doing some challenges again.

CCEE1920 Pizza

Hi Crafty Friends,

It's Frances here back today to present another challenge for you all.

Tomorrow (17th May) is Pizza Party Day, so for our challenge this week create a card that features pizza or some other food item on it.
Don't forget to come back here and link your card using Mr Linky at the CCEEblogsite HERE.
Let's see what our Design Team created for this challenge ....

CCEE1919 Mother's Day

I love these AI ladies and I love using my oxide inks for smash backgrounds, so I combined these one this card to give to my sweet sister, Lynn for her mother's day card. I seems to communicate how our children should treat us on Mother's Day, right???

This is much delayed from last week, as last week's lightning and flood storm we had knocked out my modem and just got my internet back today.

Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day.

CCEE1918 Space

Hi CCEE Stamper Fans,

It's a brand new month, so that means it is time to introduce our challenge hostess for May which is Frances Byrne.

Tomorrow 3rd May is International Space Day and the 4th May is Star Wars Day. So our challenge this week is to create space themed cards.
Don't forget to come back and link your card to Mr Linky over on the CCEEStampers blog that is found HERE
While you are there on the blogsite, be sure to check to  see what our Design Team has created this week.

I have no space stamps, so I used the distress Oxide ink smash technique on black paper to achieve a starry look in the night sky. I die cut a circle for the moon, and tried to give it some texture and I had wrote my message: Love you to the moon and back in my freehand. I added a few sequins and sequin stars to add the glimmer of the shining stars.
