HMFMC341 embossing

This is one of my favorite House Mouse stamps, and I have to use it at least once every graduation season. I decided to combine it with the embossing challenge going on over at HMFMC 341 that can be found here:

I embossed the silver card stock then I rubbed a black ink pad over it. I colored the image with copic markers. I cut this flourised die out of some silver dotted black paper. The sentiment is from Idelogy from Tim Holtz.

International art and soul -- 109 - graduation

I made this card for the SCS CAS challenge to use a diagonal line on the card. Since the International Art and Soul challenge theme is graduation and thought I could combine these into one card. I need to send two graduation cards this year for friends and family and both are boys. I think this will be a great card for one of them, and if I have another piece of that cardstock left, I might make it for the other young man too. There is no stamping on this card. I used die cuts, designer paper, and I freehanded the sentiment with a white gel pen.  Although this looks gray in this picture, it is black and the gold chrome contrasts beautifully but is so hard to photograph.

The International art and soul challenge can be found here:

Celebration - graduation

The Crafty Cardmakers Challenge this week is celebrations. With graduation coming up and many I need to make cards for, I decided to get those going so I can help these young people who have been robbed of all the usual events that go into this celebration have not gotten to happen this year. So  I will be sending a few more than usual this year. This one was done with a stencil I won from Stamplorations, and the stamps are from Unity. I watercolored the cap and gown, and used copic markers for the rest of the image. The inks for the stenciling were done with Distress Oxide inks.

Sean Andrew's graduation card

I made this card for a friend to give to her great nephew who is graduating from high school this weekend.. I used navy paper, white, and metallic card stock. Inside it is a money holder. I also made this for the Cardz for Galz challenge to do a graduation card that can be found HERE.
