This is a Power Poppy digital that is colored with Copic markers.  The background design paper is from BasicGrey (my treasured stash that I have hoarded).

Jingle Belles challenge - Embossing

It's getting to be that time of year where I like to get at least 3 or 4 Christmas cards done during the week to be ready for the Christmas season. That is why I love taking part in all the wonderful Christmas card challenges that go on all through out the year. This week I did this one for the Jingle Belles challenge to use embossing. You can find the details of the challenge here as well as the link:

http://jinglebellesrock.blogspot.com/

I used a 3-D Sizzix embossing folder and a Power Poppy Christmas digital. The sentiment is a die cut. I used some glossy white paper to do my embossing.

The image is colored with copic markers..

Krafty Chicks 629 CAS

I found this gold embossing on a scrap on my table and thought I would create it into something for my CAS card for the Krafty Chicks challenge this week. The vase was made with an oval punch off the edge. The flowers were punched out as well. The only stamping was the sentiment. This took me about 5 minutes to make.
You can find the details of the challenge here:

Shopping our Stash Challenge #479 - Ombre

I found time to do a few additional challenges this week. This card I made for the Shop our Stash challenge #479, the theme being ombre. I used a layered stamp set from Impression Obsession and the sentiment is Stampin' Up. I used a Martha Stewart border punch from my stash as well.

CCEE 2235

 Hi friends

Kelly here again with another fun challenge!

Tomorrow is my son's 18th birthday! Wow!

This week, create a masculine birthday card

and use 1 (one) or 8 (eight) of anything on your cards!

Use the keyword CCEE2235 or any online gallery!

I have had such fun over the past few weeks hitting up every Hobby Lobby in my area for those incredible red tag specials. This set I found over while visiting Lynn. It is from Art Impressions. I thought all 18 year boys would love a truck, and to come up with the 18 things (oops! I used 18 instead of 8), I used 18 scraps of paper. These backgrounds are always so fun to create.

Make sure you go to check out the creations from the team that can be found here.
