CCEE2005

It's Lynn again saying, "That's enough of this cold." What say we shake the gloom of winter by filling the skies on our cards with bright and colorful hot air balloons in honor of International Hot Air Balloon Week? An uplifting and encouraging sentiment would be a perfect pairing for your balloons, as well!

Should you decide to play along with us this week, please use Mr. Linky below to link your creation. Add keyword CCEE2005 if you are posting to an online gallery.

I had not one image or stamp of a hot air balloon so I just made my own out of scraps. The only thing stamped on this card is the sentiment. I drew in the strings with fine point sharpie.

CCEE2004 - Ice, ice Baby!

Lynn here to welcome you to this week's CCEE Stampers Challenge. It seems to me I have been bundled up in sweatshirts and sweaters for weeks now! Baby, it’s cold outside. Let’s see those icy creations!! Add your glitter and shine to make some shimmery winter beauties.

Add your creation if you would like to play along over on the Linky on the www.cceestampers.blogspot.com  site and while you are there check out the  team's icy creations.

I used an old SU stamp set for my ice skaters, a new Unity stamp for my trees, and a sentiment stamp from Stampendous.

CCEE2003

It's Lynn again here with the latest CCEE Stampers Challenge. Today is National Book Publishers Day.  To celebrate books of all kinds, I am asking the CCEE Stampers and their fans to create a card which features characters, a theme, or a quote from one of your favorite books!! Bonus points if it is on the current best sellers' list!

Mr. Linky is down below for you to upload your entry into this week's challenge. Should you add your card to an online gallery, please add keyword CCEE2003.

I love anything C. S. Lewis writes. This is a quote of his although I don't know which book it is in:
An explanation of cause is not a justification by reason.

I used my newest House Mouse stamp on it and some new design paper.

Attitude of Gratitude

I have been making many thank you cards and have had a request from a friend who wants to purchase a set. I use my card money to support the prison ministries I am involved in. So when I saw this Sweet Stampin' Challenge, I thought I should share this one I made for my friend. The rose is a digital from Power Poppy that I colored with copic markers.

Honored that my card was selected as a top 3 card last week.

CCEE2002 Backing the Blue

Lynn here with this week's CCEE Challenge. In the United States, January 9 is a day set aside to celebrate police officers by thanking them for their public service and showing them support. Let’s help out by creating a card to thank these devoted servants. To spread the word, post your cards on all of your social media accounts!

Please use Mr. Linky below to share your card of support for police officers everywhere. Should you upload your card to an online gallery, please use keyword CCEE2002.

Let's see what our talented design team members have created to celebrate these dedicated men and women who give of themselves to protect and serve us all.

I Love my Power Poppy digitals!

Although I had a few left over Christmas cards in my stash, this is my first one I made for the SCS Christmas Challenge for 2020. I purchased this digital from Power Poppy and found it to be on sale. What a deal! The challenge was to use kraft. I am not sure if kraft will be considered brown for the Color Throwdown challenge, but we might give it a try.

I used my copic markers for the coloring as well as my colored pencils. A sparkly gel pen added the glitter to the gold and snow.

CCEE2001 June in January

January 2 – It’s June in January Some of our fans may not realize that two of our CCEE Stampers Design Team Members are living down under in Australia. Their seasons are the exact opposite of ours. They have always gone with the flow and designed cards to conform to our climate. Let’s turn the tables this week and make some summery cards they can put to use right now! Bring on the heat!

(Hostess: Lynn McAuley)

I stamped my snowman onto tan like sand, and altered it a bit to be a"sand babe", singing that old song,,,,,Mr. Sandman! I went a little crazy with my creating and putting many of my summery stamps together for this scene. I promise I did not drink too much new year champagne although one might think that I have!!!!
