Seize the Birthday - spring florals

I made this card for the Seize the birthday challenge this week which was to use spring flowers.
I stenciled my background using A Colorful Life stencil with distress oxide inks. Then I dry embossed the stencil using a 3-D embosing folder. This stamp set I got from Unity and it is designed by Gina K. I used blending brushes with distress oxide ink for the flowers and I used alcohol markers for the hightlights on the flowers and also for coloring the leaves. I mounted this card front on a lavender card base. The sentiment is from Impression Obsessions.

Just Add ink 693

I made this card with the 2 choice criteria in mind that is the challenge this week on Just Add Ink. I used a square shaped card and a few square design paper scraps in the background and I used a saying.
This is a multi-media piece made from white paper, design papers, various stamps for the background and featuring a Tim Holtz vintage photo and a Tim Holtz snarky sentiment saying as my sentiment, I used Distress Oxide inks for my background stamped images.  I had such a great time creating this one, You can check for the details for the challenge here:

Color Throw Down Challenge 784

I found the perfect design paper for this color challenge this week for the Color Throwdown challenge of light blue, grey, and brown. I stamped this image from Unity stamps and colored it with the same coordinating colors of alcohol markers. I embossed the design paper with a 3-D Sizzix embossing folder and then sanded off some of the color. It made a lovely background for this image. I mounted it to a kraft card base.  You can find the challenge details here:

Inspiration Station #59

I loved the pattern in the girls' skirts so I used that in my basic design for this card. I added some gemstones as musical notes and drew the stems. I also added my handwritten sentiment that says:

"Music-the universal language."  You can find the details for this challenge here:

Just Add ink #692 sketch

Thought this would be a cute card using the sketch challenge over at Just Add Ink #692.
The stamp is from Unity. I used a black  and a piece of design paper. Then a strip of washi tape divided the sections. I used the same pink cardstock for the card base that I used  to mat the circle. St. Patty's day is coming up and thought these would be some interesting drinks would be great to add to the celebration.
You can find the details for the challenge here:

I used alcohol ink markers to color the image.  The sentiment is a Tim Holtz Idea-o-logy strip from his snarky tablet.

HMFMC 410

The kraft panel is embossed, I just am using the back side of it. I used some brown distress oxide ink rubbed over the raised image to get this look on the flipped side. The HM image is colored with alcohol markers and the sentiment tag is from Tim Holtz Idea-o-logy strip tablet. I am as eager about spring as this little house!! I've been having fun trying to plant some new plants around my house.

Global Design Project - theme challenge

I made this Easter card for the Global Design Project challenge this week

Easter will be here before we know it and I haven't had much time in my stamp room this month, so it was fun to get a chance to make this card. I used some wonderful design paper scraps for this card and got out those Easter stamps I only get to use once a year. The flowers were punched from a Martha Stewart punch. I even added a little washi tape to this.
