As you See it...color I use the least in crafting #322

I don't use gray very much. I used a gray background for this card that I embossed with a Sizzix 3-d embossing folder. Before embossing it, I rubber smokey gray distress oxide ink onto the inside of the embossing folder before putting it through my Big Shot. I die cut a frame and flowers using a Sizzix die cut set. I used a Sweet and Sassy stamp on the white circle focus. I added silver gemstones as centers for the flowers.

C.R.A.F.T. challenge #717 - recycle

I love buying up calendars when they go on 90% off sales because the art on calendars are some of the most beautiful art out there. I made the envelop big enough for a slimline card. Then I used the left over scraps for the design paper on the card. I added the Pinkfresh image that I colored with copic markers. The sentiment is from the Pinkfresh set as well.

AI raining cats and dogs challenge

I recently learned how to make this flag Z fold card. I thought it would be so cute done with this AI set and although it is not raining dogs, it is rain in its frozen form so it is snowing.  I use design paper for the background and got to use many of the stamps that were in that great Christmas set.  Some one is really going to  enjoy getting this card for Christmas and I am sure it will be one of my dog-loving friends.  I used versafine clair black ink for my stamping and I used copic markers for the coloring off the images.

Shout for joy-BYSHC linky party is happening!!

With an afternoon of either stamping or housecleaning, guess what I chose? And guess what motivated my creativity? The BYSHC linky party of course.  I used a stencil from A Colorful Life, a stamp from Unity, used distress oxide ink for the stenciling and for the water coloring of the skirt. The other parts of the image were colored with copic markers. I used a Memento die for the sentiment and added a few sparkles just for fun!!! I hope will spend some joyful time checking out things over at the BYSHC Linky Party going on this week. You won't want to miss it.

BYSHC spring to Christmas Linky Party

I try to make Christmas cards all throughout the year so I can get them all done before December. I make over 60 individual designs (no 2 exactly alike) so I am always excited when the BYSCH spring to Christmas Linky party is going on. What a great motivation for me and what wonderful ideas are generated for the event! So here is a card I made this morning to link to their party. It was made using a Gina K designs cross die, and a Gina Marie design nativity die. I loved this fancy paper I found in my stash as I wanted it to be in mostly neutral colors. The "blessed" die is from Impression  Obsessions. As you can see I am a huge fan of many of our wonderful crafting companies out  there and I try to support as many as I can on my fixed retirement income. LOL. I hope you will go over and see what all is happening over on the BYSHC spring to Christmas Linky party.
