This is my S card for the ABC challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. I started with a smash ink background of pink distress oxide ink. See all the wonderful splatters which added another s to the mix. Then I stenciled some spots over it using the same distressed oxide ink and A Colorful Life stencil. The I used some stripes I found on aanothr one of my A Colorful Life stencils and used stencil paste to add a little texture to the design. I used an older stamp set from my stamp collection by artist Marcella Hawley of sweet peas. I colored them with alcohol markers. And lastly I added the star made from a Gina Marie stencil. S was certainly a fun letter to work with. And I will be added the number 64 to it to send to a friend who has reached that sensational age and yes, we will still need her and feed her (as the Beatles once reminded us!!

Jingle Belles Challenge - Christmas Bells
It is always so fun to see what the new challenge is on the Jingle Bells Challenge every other week, and how fun to see it is Christmas Bells this time. I found some design paper with bells on it and so I matched it up with this repeated Merry Christmas script pattern. I die cut my jingle bells with silver chrome paper with an Impression Obsession die. I sure do miss IO. I die cut some holly leaves and added these red bow stickers just for a little more of a festive look.

The Cupcake Inspiration Challenge - lavender and sagge
Marcella Hawley has been one of my favorite artists when it comes to florals. I chose to color this digital of hers from Power Poppy to color using lavender and sage the colors for the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge this week. I used alcohol markers for coloring. You can find the details here:
I used two different stencils from A Colorful Life to make the background using Distress Oxide Inks for my blending. The sentiment is from a set by Gina K designs.
Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge for May
I missed the deadline for my card for April for this challenge, so I am trying to get this one posted on time this month. I love doing challenges that help me get my Christmas cards made all during the year. You can find the details for this one here:
I used some design paper for the background. I used an cup stamp from an old set I have had for years. I did some paper piecing with the cup by stamping it on design paper. The flowers were stamped with a
new set that came from Gina K designs, which also included the sentiment. I used some gold chrome die cut square as an accent piece and also for gold trim on the strip going cross the card. Gold enamel glitter dots were used as the flower centers.

Can you handle the pressure - florals
This was a hard card to photograph, but this is the best I could do getting the contrasts in the embossing on the white. I used a folder from Darice for the card front and a 3-D embossing folder from Sizzix for the rose. I added them to the front after I fussy cut them and used dimensional foam tape behind them as the adhesive. I used some design paper from my stash to make the inside part of the card. I used a sparkle pen inside of the indentions on the embossing on the card base. I think it shows up some in the photo. You can find this challenge here:
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Spring
So many challenges for spring and florals as this is the wonderful time of the year that the earth comes to life again. I loved the spring colors of this paper so I used it for the challenge over on the Sweet Stampin' challenge this week. The papers are from Paper Studio and the floral digital is from my favorite site to find the most beautiful florals created by Marcella Hawley over at Power Poppy. I chose colors that coordinated the colors of the design paper with the flowers of this gorgeous bouquet. The sentiment is also from Power Poppy. You can find the details of this challenge here:
Love those pretty papers - florals
I bought this Paper Studio pad of paper recently not only because it was 40% off, but also because I loved the color palette used in the assortment of papers in it. I used this Power Poppy digital that I colored with alcohol markers to coordinate with those colors. I used a Martha Stewart border punch to make the pink eyelet looking edge. I fussy cut the image and die cut the sentiment.
