Creative knockout #550 and C.R.A.F.T. challenge 758

It's always fun to have a Christmas challenge once a month as it helps build up my stash before the season gets too busy.  I found this piece of foiled design paper in my stash and thought this white dove would just pop from it. This die is from Momenta and the sentiment is included in the seet. I mounted this on a kraft card base.
You can find the details for these challenges  here:

Just Us Girls #782 and As You Like it Challenge

This card is for two challenges this week:
The Just Us Girls Challenge to use dies, and the As You Like It Challenge to use 2 of your favorite colors and why. Well, I love pink and this shade of green that reminds me of tropical summers. I made use of a Spellbinder die, so chromed design papers, some lime green and pink flamingo colors. I added some green enamel dots as embellishments and a Tim Holtz sentiment strip that says:
"look on the bright side." Hope every one is having a wonderful 4th of July and enjoycing their summer.

Addicted to CAS and TicTacToe 272

                                             https://tictactoechallenge.com/tttc273-featured-designer-silke/

I am entering my CAS card for both of these challenges. I used a simple white card, added striped design paper strips and punched out hearts using an old Martha Stewart heart punch. I stamped the "thank you!" with versafine clair black ink. A quick and easy card. I used CAS, hearts, and stripes for my tic tac toe row.

Freshly Made Sketch #692

https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2025/06/theres-still-time-to-play-with-sketch_0950219835.html

I made this card using this sketch above and used Momenta stamps for the small images and a Brass and Bliss sentiment stamp. Burgundy cardstock was used for the card base. I used design paper for the larger panel. I used the flip side of the design paper for the matting on the smaller squares and for the sentiment..

Krafty chick #774 and Allsorts #826

The challenge for Krafty Chicks 774 is masculine, and for the Allsorts #826 it is seaside. I made this card combining these challenges.  Here is where you can find the details for these challenges:

I used the paper strips flip technique for my background. I stamped a background collage and then cut it into strips. When I glued them to the front of my card I would flip every other one to mix up the pattern. I used a variety of masculine colors. I added the diecuts for my focal point. The sentiment is from Brass and Bliss. The die was from Impression Obsessions.

Christmas Kickstart #99

https://christmaskickstartchallenge.blogspot.com/2025/06/the-christmas-kickstart-challenge-99.html

I used the sketch challenge for the BYSHC challenge for the layout. And used the theme from the Christmas Kickstart challenge for the cute critters used. The paper is from Paper Studio, and the dies are from Sizzix. The little embellishments are from A Colorful Life.  Loved the non-traditional Christmas colors on this design paper choice.

Time out challenge #291

This was such a fun card to make. I used a stencil from A Colorful Life in a different type of way than I usually do. A Colorful life often includes both the image and the piece that was left over. I love to use it often as a mask or a pattern to draw around. This time I masked my paper with the stencil and stamped the shell images inside the heart, The arms on the stencil are on that template as well so they worked to mask where the arms were during the stamping process. Then I outlined the arms and the heart to make the definite line on the card. I colored the arms with an alcohol marker and also some of the shells and the sea grass. The stamps were from various shells parts of many different companies sea shell collections I have. So picking the shells for this was much like collecting shells on the beach. The sentiment is from one of my Stampin' Up sets.
I am just loving all the possibilities I can have when using stencils. They are fast becoming one of my "go to" tools to use in creating. If you haven't done much with stenciling techniques, I encourage you to give them a try. And they take up so little storing space.

Crazy is my fame, stenciling is my game - Summer Fun challenge

Here's my card for the Crazy is my fame and stenciling is my game challenge for Summer Fun.

Here's the details for the challenge:

I used one of my newest stencils from A Colorful Life, using a blending of different yellow distress oxide inks for the stenciling. Then I found all my small beach themed stamps to stamp into the shapes. Most of these have retired but they are still some of my favorites in my stash for summer. The sentiment is actually a new one I just ordered from Brass and Bliss.

Inspiration Station for June

I was inspired by the variety of colors on this ride and used some of those colors as my flowers for the stenciled background I had created with A Colorful Life Designed stencil using some distressed oxide ink colors in my stenciling,  The sentiment is from Gina K designs stamped with versafine clair black ink. I added die cut flowers and gemstone or sequined centers to them. The leaves were punched using scraps of white paper that I colored with alcohol markers the various greens I desired. The leaf punch is from Martha Stewart.

Jingle Belles challenge - festive frames

I found some great little Christmas embellishments in my stash so decided to make use of it on this Jingle Belles challenge. I used some silver chrome cardstock for this frame. I love getting some of my Christmas stamping done during the year and I love the challenges on the Jingle Belles challenge that are out there to take part in. Thanks, Stephanie and Lauren for keeping it fun each week.
Check things out here:

The Paper Players #743

I decided to use my newest stencil from A Colorful Life Designs for the Paper Players challenge this week in making this one layer card. The butterfly image is from Hero Arts. I used various colors of Distressed Oxide inks for the stenciling and the stamping of  thee first two layers of the butterfly image. I use versafine clair black for the final step of the butterfly and the sentiment.  I accented the butterfly wings with white gel dots.

Inkspirational Challenge #344

For the Inkspirational challenge this week we were to use stencils. So I used my new Trim Octagon from A Colorful Life, and also the Pointed lace, Spring garden, and bird message stencils also by A Colorful Life Designs. The words were from an old retired stamp set from Our Daily Bread. I added sequins onto some of the centers of the flowers.

https://inkspirationalchallenges.blogspot.com/2025/06/inkspirational-challenge-344-use.html

I used various shades of pink and purples of Distress oxide inks for the ink blending parts and I used versafine clair black ink for the words.  I added a few sequins for the embellishments.

Retro challenge Bingo257

I used seguins, embossing powder (clear), and a stencil from A Colorful Life designs.
My stamps are from Unity. I used various blue inks for my stenciling. I used copic makes for coloring my image, and used versafine clair black for stamping the sentiment and image. I think this stamp set is at least a year or more old. I stamped versamark embossing ink over the whole image and sprinkled on clear embossing powder to get a glassy look on the beer stein.
You can find the details for the challenge here:

Denim and sunflowers

This fun card was made for the Fab n' Funky challenge, which was to use a die and details can be found here: https://fabnfunkychallenges.blogspot.com/2025/06/challenge-618-use-your-die-cuts.html

and it also fit the challenge over on the Inspired by challenge this week:

Torn paper is one of my "go to" techniques and I found this design paper that reminded me of denim so I just tore it into strips and used it for the background. I think sunflowers and denim just seem to fit together in my part of the world, so I used this wonderful die from Spellbinders for my focal point and the sentiment from Creative Worship stamps completed the card. It was stamped in Versafine clair black ink.

Butterfly on an originally designed background

This card is meeting the criteria of two challenges this week and they are:

and because I made my own background paper for this card it also qualified for the Craft Rocket challenge here:

Here are the details of this card: The background was made with A Colorful Life stencils and distress oxide inks. Then I stamped a Gina K flower from a set that came from Unity in versafine black over that, also a text stamp was used fom Bo Bunny, and the main focus is the layer butterfly stamp that is from Hero Art, as is the sentiment. I used Distress Ink on the layering of  the butterfly. I mounted all of this onto a light blue card base.

More details for the challenge can be found here:

https://trystampinontuesday.blogspot.com/2025/05/Challenge-671.html

The stamps are from Bo Bunny and I used versafine clair black ink. I colored them with copic markers. I found this little sentiment lost from the set it came with so not sure of the source for it. I just used a white card stock for the card base.

HMFMC#441

Here is my card for the newest challenge for HMFCM #441. I embossed the coral cardstock. I stamped white cardstock with this image from my collection. I colored it with alcohol markers. I die cut  this die from Momenta on white then colored it with alcohol markers. The sentiment was stamped using versafine clair black, as was the house mouse image. I fussy cut the image and sentiment and added it to the front.
