Try it on Tuesday Challenge - summer blooms

I designed this slimline card for the Try it on Tuesday challenge to use a summer bloom on my card. I used design papers for the background and burgundy cardstock as my cardbase. Crazy is my fame and stenciling is my game - layered stenciling

I layered and re-layered my Colorful life leaf stencil and used various greens. I also used my Colorful Life dragonfly stencil  and the sun from another Colorful Life stencil. I used distress oxide inks for my stenciling and the verse is from Impression Obsessions and is stamped in versafine clair black ink. I love that this is a single layer of paper.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge- Pretty in pink

The other night I made about 10 layouts for card fronts with left over scraps. They are fun to coordinate and then I just leave them available for an image to use to finish it off. Allsorts Challenge #732 birthdays

 

I love making layouts from my leftover scraps, and then make use of them as needed to complete a specific card or theme. So when I saw aa birthday theme for the Allsorts Challenge this week, I decided to complete this one as a birthday card.  The cake is from Unity stamps. I added a few punched flowers and leaves and added gemstones for the flower center and for the flower centers on the cake as well.

Little Red Wagon #708 Things that fly

       I made this card for the Little Red Wagon challenge this week #708 to use things that fly. I love making layouts from my scrap piles, and that is what I did for this card. Tic Tac Toe challenge #211

 

Trying to beat the timeline on this challenge. This is for the Tic Tac Toe #211 challengee. I used travel, pink, and embossing for my card. The background was debossed with a 3_D embossing folder, nd the darker pink panel was embossed using a different 3_D folder. Double D challenge

Tying out Stampin' Up's new Lemon Lolly ink on this challenge card for Double D. I stamped directly from a little ink pad on to my paper to form this checkerboard pattern. Then I stamped this lemon from a retired set from Stampin' Up over it. I colored it with copic markers and went over the white flowers with a white pencil. The sentiment is from a Spellbinder set. This was an easy one layer card that I did in less than 10 minutes. Easy to make and easy to mail.  You can check out this challenge here:

Colorful Options June 2023 - peach

Peach is one of my favorite colors and how fun to see it is the color for the challenge this month for Colorful Options. I pulled out this oldie but goodie from Flourishes that is another favorite of mine. I used some wonderful Graphics 45 design paper for the background and another piece of design paper for the corner. I colored this image with colored pencils and copic markers. The image and sentiment were stamped with Versafine Clair black ink.  You can find the details for this challenge here:

House Mouse challenge #391

Making use of a plaid paper for my option for the House Mouse challenge this week, I chose this cute little mouse in a pot plant to feature on my card. The sentiment is from Pinkfresh and of course the mouse is from Stampablities.  I colored it with Copic markers. I added some flowers and leaves to give the card some extra color. Cardz for Galz #200 Slimline birthday cards

I have been designing slim line cards making use of recycled calendar pages. This was one that I used most of the calendar page for the envelope and some of the scrap leftovers as part of the card. I stamped seashells (Stampin' Up)  onto the card base and the sentiment. I colored the shells with colored pencils. 

I designed this one for the Cardz for Galz #200 challenge. Thought it would make a great summery birthday wish for someone on your summer birthday list.
