This card was made for the As You See It recipe challenge for this week. It was to make use of a die cut, embossing, twine or ribbon, thinking of you theme, and pastels. I used a 3_D embossing folder from Sizzix, distress oxide inks in pale pinks and light green.
Here is where you can find the details of the challenge:
Wow, Liz, this is so vintage looking - LOVE that embossing folder! Lovely soft colors, too! Thanks so much for playing at As You See It!
ReplyDeleteI like the softness of your colours: pinks and greens make for a lovely combination. I like the way you've embossed and stamped the panel. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It Challenge.
ReplyDeleteI love your soft 'off the edge' stamping which gives a lovely focus to the embossing too and your sentiment underlined with ribbon is the perfect focal point. Thanks for playing along with our recipe challenge over at As You See it this week!
ReplyDeleteThe soft, muted colours and the tin tile look of the embossing folder give a definite vintage vibe to your creation, Liz. Thanks for cooking up our recipe at As You See It Challenges.
ReplyDeleteSO pretty, I love how you embossed the paper! Delightfully soft with the pretty pastel shades! Thanks for sharing this with us at As You See It this week!
