CCEE2136 National Ice Cream Month

 


Hi, Lois starts our month as hostess.  According to that wacky holiday chart, July is National Ice Cream Month and July 1st is Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day.  Lois' challenge to us is to include some ice cream on your card.


I used a stamp set by Dina Kowal for Impression Obsessions. I also make use of many various dies from my collection and a Tim Holtz Paper Doll (vintage photo). Ice cream has a very interesting history going back for centuries, and it has always been my very favorite summer dessert. I am glad we are celebratinig it for a month so I have a great excuse to eat it for the whole month of July!! One of my favorite concoctions for homemade churned ice cream consists of Big Red soda and sweetened condensed milk put in a electric ice cream maker to churn. This bright pink of my ice cream reminded me of the color of it.

  1. I would dress up pretty and sit up straight for a strawberry cone!! What am awesomely fun collage, Liz!! Sensational card!! All my wishes would come true if ice cream calories didn't count!!
