As You See It recipe card #269

This card was made for the As You See It recipe challenge for this week. It was to make use of a die cut, embossing, twine or ribbon, thinking of you theme, and pastels. I used a 3_D embossing folder from Sizzix, distress oxide inks in pale pinks and light green.

Here is where you can find the details of the challenge:

Mod Squad Challenge Standing with Ukraine

This card was made for the Mod Squad challenge this week to use blue and yellow for their theme of Standing with Ukraine. This is a sunflower stamp from Spellbinder. I used scraps from my design paper scraps to make my background. I have decided that for the 40 days of Lent I will be making a card that will remind people to pray for Ukraine and all people of the world seeking freedom and justice for them and peace to live without fear.

You can find the details here:

This card is for the people of Ukraine. Praying daily for their safety and courage.

CCEE2207 - Wedding card

Liz is bringing our last challenge of  February. February is also the National Wedding Month. Make a wedding card to send a couple who might be tying the knot this month or to send for the next wedding event that occurs for family or friends.

I decided to use this adorable House Mouse stamp to feature on my wedding card for National Wedding Month. I stamped it with black ink and colored it with copic markers. The dies are from Gina Marie designs and used some fabulous wedding paper I had in my stash.

Make sure to stop by the website to view all the beautiful wedding cards created by our team:

CCEE2204 Winter Olympics

Hi, Liz is our hostess for February, and in February, the world's biggest winter sporting event that happens every 4 years, the Winter Olympics will be held in Bejing, China.. So as our challenge, feature one of those winter sports on your card, and you might even want to add gold or silver as embellishment or highlight on your card.

These dies are from Impression Obsessions. I double punched these circle with 2 sizes of circle punches. The background paper is from Paper Studio.
I hope you will join in the fun and make sure you check out the events represented by the other team members over on the CCEEstampers blogsite found here:
