Now that November is here, most of the cards that will be created in my stamp room will be Chistmas cards. So I am taking on this challenge that was offered by As You See It challenge to feature the one that that sums up Christmas for you. Having been a Christian all my life, Christ's birth has always been a part of my Christmas season and celebrating it. I remember as a child, my parents taking part in a live nativity tableu at my church. As their "young adult" class got older, it was the senior high youth group that took on that event when I was a teenager. The church festivities during this season always sums it up for me. JESUS is the reason for the season.
I used all my old Christmas paper scraps to create my background for this card. Then I added the die cut nativity and the embossed the sentiment with versamark ink and Ranger embossing powder.

I absolutely love how you used all those scraps for your amazing BG with that die cut. This is one incredible Christmas card.
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty way to use the scraps in a card. They make a colourful background for the lovely silhouette. Thanks for joining us at As You See It Challenge.
