Find the details for the challenge here: https://www.asyouseeitchallenge.com/2022/04/272.html

I used some great design paper that I found in my stash, and added this cactus from Unity and I designed the pot it is in.  The image is colored with copic markers. The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz's Idea-o-logy sticker pad.

Art Nudge and As you See It challenges

I am using the colors for the Art Nudge challenge today on facebook. I have been following them for some time now on Facebook, But this was my first opportunity to get the time to take part. I am also using this card for the As You See it challenge #279 with the theme "Spring in the air."  Check out the colors on the Art Nudge challenge on Facebook and you can find the details for the As You See It challenge this week here:

The daisies are a digital from Power Poppy, and I used Copic markers to color the image. I used a piece of polka dotted design paper, and then added magenta dots to it to add more of the color choices to my card.  The sentiment strip is from Tim Holtz.

Jesus is the reason for the season

Now that November is here, most of the cards that will be created in my stamp room will be Chistmas cards. So I am taking on this challenge that was offered by As You See It challenge to feature the one that  that sums up Christmas for you. Having been a Christian all my life, Christ's birth has always been a part of my Christmas season and celebrating it. I remember as a child, my parents taking part in a live nativity tableu at my church. As their "young adult" class got older, it was the senior high youth group that took on that event when I was a teenager. The church festivities during this season always sums it up for me. JESUS is the reason for the season.

I used all my old Christmas paper scraps to create my background for this card. Then I added the die cut nativity and the embossed the sentiment with versamark ink and Ranger embossing powder.
