C4C525 International Women's Day

My stamping friend, Frances is hosting over on the Crazy for Challenges this week and since today is International Women's Day the challenge is to have an image of a woman on your card. So here is mine. I made with background by inking  the SU medallion stamp with distress oxide ink from Tim Holtz, spritzed it with water and then smashed it onto watercolor paper. I stenciled the other side using make up brushes and honey distress oxide ink.  Then I stamped the girl image onto white cs and colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut it out to add to the bg. The girl and the sentiment are from Unity stamps.

Women can turn the simplest things into total happiness, like birthdays for their children, like scraps of fabric into the best Halloween costumes, and so many other things that make women shine in the field of their creative abilities and their nurturing ways they can bring happiness to others. God made us so very special.
