HMFMC438 - spring

Love this little house mouse in his "flower bed." I stamped the image with versafine clair black, colored the image with alcohol markers. I used the apricot paper as the card base, some orange design paper as the bottom layer, and stamped on white. I punched the borders  with a Martha Stewart punch, and then added the yellow band to help balance the picture. I mounted it closer to the left side of the orange and then added clear enamel dots to embellish the right side. These reminded me of droplets of water (with spring showers in mind as another spring event).

As You See it - Pastel Celebration

I made this card for the upcoming celebration of Easter for the As You See it celebration called Pastel Celebration. I used this pretty page of pastel printed design paper and stamped these little adorable girls from an image from Unity Stamps directly onto the design paper. I colored the image with copic markers. I added this ribbon bow and a wet embossed sentiment. The sentiment (from Spellbinder) is inked with Versamark and I used white Ranger embossing powder For the  punched butterflies I used was a little mini butterfly punch from Creative Memories, which is an old and a favorite in my punch collection. This makes me so ready for spring to come.

Inspiration station #48

I just love my cloud stencil from A Colorful Life, so I was so motivated to use it for this challenge. I used a tulip stamp from Unity to go along with it. I really liked how my colors turned out on this. You can find the details and linky for this challenge here:

I also used this card for today's CAS card on Splitcoaststampers, since I used an encouraging sentiment on it.

As You See it - staying dry

This is for the As You See It challenge this week. The theme Staying Dry. This is an image from Sassy Cheryl design. The sentiment is from Stampendous. The background stamp of water drops I am not sure of the source. They were stamped in blue distress oxide ink. The image is colored in copic markers. This took me about 10 minutes to put together.

HMFMC 361

I love making my own background so the twist on this challenge was one well taken. First I started with a retiform layered background of distress oxide inks. Then I added a background stamp from Impression Obsessions over the retiform layer with a darker pink distress oxide ink. I stamped the mouse image onto white paper, colored with copic markehttp://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/2022/03/hmfmc-361-mid-way-reminder-always.htmls and cut out and glued onto the front. The sentiment and the mouse image were stamped with versafine Clair black ink. I mounted this onto a yellow card base.

Daring Cardmakers Hello spring

I have been making lots of spring floral cards this week and I am letting this one reflect sunflowers and the colors of the Ukrainian flag. Praying for Ukraine and the brave people who are standing up for justice. I will use this card as my entry for the Daring Cardmakers challenge this week.
You can find the details of this challenge here:

I used a stencil for my background, and blue distressed oxide ink. The sunflower bouquet is a digital from Power Poppy that I colored with copic markers. I colored some clear gemstones with a yellow copic and then added them on the background.

Double D challenge - showers and flowers

This card I made for the Showers and Flowers challenge going on over at Double D this week.
The digital of the little girl in the raincoat is from Sassy Cheryl Designs,  the stamped flowers and leaves are from Rubber Tapestry stamps, and the sentiment is from Untty. I fund this sentiment to be a timely one for this pandemic. You can find the details of the challenge HERE.
