Art Impressions challenge - Barn Dance

I am taking part in the Barnyard challenge this week over at Art Impressions. I love this "spring chick" from Art Impressions  and how she seems to be leaping into action!!!  Maybe her dance is the "bunny hop" . I used her with some cute spring like paper from my stash and here are the results.  You can find this challenge here:

Pets and woofing celebrations

The theme for the Time Out challenge is Pets, and the theme for tje Inspired by ...challenge is Woofnng Celebration. I thought this card fit both critia. The image is from a Mo Manning digital, and the paper used, which included this sentiment is from an American Crafts paper pad. I used a pale green cardstock for the card base. I free handed the hat and cut it out to add to the dog's head.

You can find these two challenges here:

CCEE2116 Tea Day

Frances is back today with another fun challenge for you all.

Apparently the 21st April was Tea Day, create a card that features tea or coffee.

Let's take a look at what the Design Team created for this challenge.

I used a Sizzix die for the lacy corner, a stamp from Unity for the image, and a sentiment from Gina Marie. The lacy stamp I am not sure of the source but thought it tied into the theme and style of this card. The flowers are a Sizzix die as well.. I used the smashed disress oxide ink to stain the ivory background cardstock. The card base is dark brown.

HMFMC338 Outside fun

I used my Blowing Dandelion house mouse stamp from Stampabilities dated 1989 to make this card. I have collected stamps for well over 25 years so it was fun to get to use this precious one from my collection. I stenciled the clouds for my background. I added a little sparkle pen to the seeds from the dandelion that are flying in the air but it doesn't snow up so well in my photo. I colored my images with Copic markers.

Here is where you will find the details for this challenge:

Make my Monday challenge - plaids and checks

I made this card for the Make My Monday challenge, which is to use checks or plaids. I loved these colors I found on a plaid design sheet I found in my stash. The stamps are from Gina K. I watercolored the flowers with distress oxide inks that matched the colors in the plaid.  The stamping was done in Ranger Archival Ink (black). I am part of the card team at my church, which includes praying for and sending cards to those shut in, those who are sick, or those who are struggling with life's challenges. These kind of cards are my most needed.
