I made these two cards for the Twofer Challenge to use trees. I used a tree stamp from a retired Stampin' Up set. The one on the left I stamped the image of the tree onto design paper. I used oxide inks and copic markers to make fall colored leaves on the tree. I die the park bench, then added a sentiment and paper doll image from Tim Holtz. The card on the right is on white cardstock, the swaps of color are from a Gina K stamp. I used the same tree stamp as the one I used on the other card.

You created such a wonderful vintage look with your row of autumn trees card, Liz ... the girl on the bench gives it great depth ... puts me in mind of a victorian park! Your Get Well card is warm and comforting in those lovely cosy background colours ... simple and stylish! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I love both of your tree cards! Beautifully done! I love how you added the girl on the bench in the first one and I love the CAS look of the 2nd one!
ReplyDeleteTwo sensational tree designs, Liz!! Really loving the TH paper doll on the bench most of all!! So fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful study of yesteryear and modern with your two card designs, Liz! I love the nostalgia I feel looking at the young girl on the beach beneath a trio of beautiful trees and the background is stunning! I think your single tree is a vision of strength, as are the swathes of fall color behind it ... perfect for a get well card! Thank you so much for joining in Twofer Card Challenge #31! Take care! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic cards, Liz! I love the sentiment with that girl on the bench beneath the fall trees - it's so true, and your entire card really reflects the sentiment! I also love your colors and placement of the stamped stripes on your get well card! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
