Twofer Card challenge #28

I just recently found this challenge to make two different cards using the same stamp, dies, etc. On this one I used the same embossing border from Darice. On one of the cards I inked the inside of the embossing folder. Then I ran it through my embossing machine. I added this little mouse three times and thinking the embossed portion reminded me of swiss cheese. The other card I used without inking the embossing folder. I used a different House Mouse stamp. One card is a friendship card and the other is a thinking of you card.  Hope I didn't stretch it too far making it an embossing folder as my same item used for both cards. I am new and learning. I never make the same card twice so this challenge was right up my alley.

Here is the link to this challenge :

  1. Liz, what a smart thought that the EF looks like swiss cheese! So sweet and perfect with your trio of mice. It also adds a lovely texture with your single mouse munching cookies. Thanks so much for joining us at Twofer Card Challenge #28.

  2. Your two cards are absolutely ADORABLE Liz and I'm totally loving the swiss cheese border on the first card! And as a House Mouse fan, you had me right at the get go! Cute, CUTE cards!! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)

  3. I'm so glad you found us, Liz! You did a great job with the concept with these two fun designs using your house mice and your circle embossing folder! I'm sad to tell you that we had to draw the line somewhere on the badge concept, so we chose to allow stamps, dies, and stencils, for the prompt element, but not embossing folders, Silhouette machines, digis, etc. I hope you understand and will come back next month and play again because you nailed the "two different designs for two different occasions" part of the challenge! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell

  4. What a cute twofer, Liz! Your little mice doing their acrobatics on their 'cheese' look as though they're celebrating big time ... such a fun friendship card! Fabulous layers on your thinking of you card ... they really draw the eye to that sweet image ... and I love that they're in 'cookie' colours to mimic the sentiment! Thanks so much for your visit and kind words at my blog ... and for playing along with us at Twofer ... hope you'll be back again next month! Anita :)
