Bitten by the Bug 2 - Country Fair

I made this card for the Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge themed "Country Fair." I used my Joy to create the banners. I stamped the basket of apples (stamp is All Night Media). I paper punched the medalion circles and cut out the streamers. The table top is a piece of design paper. I hand wrote the letters on the banner with a white gel pen. The apples and baskets are colored with copic markers. Hope you enjoy my prize winner apples!!

Here are the detail for this fun challenge:

Jingle Belles challenge -All Bundled Up

Here's the challenge over on Jingle Belles challenge this week:

We're All Bundled Up this week ... which means we're asking you to create cards with lots of layers (at least three).  Break out your favorite papers, ephemera and embellishments and layer it on.

I used some of my fun scraps on this card. Some were Christmasy and some were not. I love this Art Impression image and the sentiment is from a sassy little set from Studio G.  I added some sparkle gel pen to the jingle bells s our Christmas gal has accessorized with and a glittery little holly sticker just to make things a little more festive.

You can find the details and link for this challenge here:

C.R.A.F.T. masculine challenge

The challenge  over on C.R.A.F.T.  site this week is masculine. You can find the details of their challenge here:

The blue heron stamp is from Repeat Impressions, the sentiment is from Sweet and Sassy, and the fence is from Rubbernecker. I masked the moon with distress oxide inks,  and I stenciled the clouds and water with stencils from a Colorful Life.

Going Girly for Birthday celebrations

This is made with one of my favorite stamps from Unity. I have some June birthdays coming up and wanted to get my stash ready. I also am entering this into these two challenges this week:

The Fun n' Funky challenge which is a "go girly" theme with the details found here:

I also am entering it in the Krafty Chick's #562 challenge "stamp act" with the details found here:

I had some great scraps left over on my paper cutting table so I made use of them and then I stamped the birthday girl with this Unity stamp. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I colored the image with copic markers and added a little sparkle pen over the top of her dress on on the petticoat edge. I highlighted the light reflections with a white colored pencil. I added a few sequins just be be a little festive.

CCEE2122 - Repeat Day

Hi friends! Kelly here with your June 2021 challenges.

Today is Repeat Day!

For this week, we'd like for you to use the

repeat stamping technique on your card/project.

I did some repeat stamping on the card base for this card with an old Flourish set  that will forever be in my stamp collection. I love that peach season is here. Fresh peaches are so delicious. I colored the center piece with copic markers. I stamped the image with distressed oxide antique photo ink.  The dotted circle die is from Gina Marie. The little burlap bow is a sticker.  I hope you are in for one delicious summer that includes some peaches and cream homemade ice cream. Doesn't that sound amaging!!

Color Hues Challenge

This card was made for the above color challenge and also for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. I used design paper as the base of my card, I added the black images that are from Bo Bunny, then I added the kraft (lighter brown strip that I embossed to add texture). The sentiment is from Tim Holtz's metallic sticker sentiments pad called Ideology. They are so easy to use and there are so many great choices of sentiments.

HMFMC341 embossing

This is one of my favorite House Mouse stamps, and I have to use it at least once every graduation season. I decided to combine it with the embossing challenge going on over at HMFMC 341 that can be found here:

I embossed the silver card stock then I rubbed a black ink pad over it. I colored the image with copic markers. I cut this flourised die out of some silver dotted black paper. The sentiment is from Idelogy from Tim Holtz.
