Freshly Made sketch challenge 562 and Christmas craft Creations Challenge

I did this card for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge

Details of the challenge found here:

and I also am entering it in the Christmas Craft Creations challenge to use washi tape.

Using a black background I added metallic washi tapes and a red foil diecut bow with a tree rhinestone center on the bow. An easy CAS and a great design layout.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge #600

I am entering this card in the Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge (to use washi tape).  I used some design paper mounted onto kraft cardstock, added the bufffalo print washi stripe and then some die cut deer. I stamped the peace in versafine Clair black ink and added the holly embellishment.  You can find the details of these two challenges here:

Christmas card Throwdown

This was a fun card to design with the use of 3 of my washi tape strips. I used some really thin ones along with the plaid wider one, This die I used is from Tim Holtz (Sizzix) and I embellsihed the tree with some additional gold and white striped thin washi tape and some gold gemstones and a star sticker on top. I am not sure of the source of the sentiment but it is from an older stamp set I have and I liked the way it fit my space there on the diagonal. Here is the site for this challenge:

I love taking part in Christmas challenges as it helps me gain some early motivation to get started on those Christmas cards and December gets too busy to wait until the last minute. Besides, I make each of my cards different and unique so my friends get a one of a kind design!! Besides, I get really bored making large numbers of the same design!

Just Add Ink 571 - Just Add Lines

The challenge over on Just Use Ink this week looked like fun. We were to use lines. So I did a little scoring and I used some striped washi tape to make two bold lines in the corner. This girl image is from Impression Obsessions and the plants and pots are from Rubber Tapestry peg stamps. I used distress oxide inks for the tapestry stamps. I used versfine black for the IO image and colored pencils to color it.  You can find the details for the challenge here:
