Can you handle the pressure? Jungle animal

I inked on of my mixed textured embossing folders with various neutral colors of distress oxide inks. for the card background. I stamped this terrific lion stamp from Unity with versafine clair black into onto this marigold paper. The sentiment is a little sentiment strip from Tim Holtz. I mounted the whole card onto a back panel of the marigold cs.

You can find the details for the challlenge this week here:

I was honored to be selected as one of the top three!

Neglected Stuff Challenge

This card made use of a stencil that sadly has been sitting in the packaging for quite some time that I have never even used once. That is a sad state of neglect. So today it is making its great debut after lost and neglected in one of my stencil notebooks. I used distress oxide inks for the stenciling and versafine clair black for the image and sentiment and speckled dots. I used alcohol markers for coloring the image and a white colored pencil to add the light reflections of the vase. The sentiment resurfaced last week from one of my old Flourish sets.  You can find the details of this challenge here:

Tic Tac Toe #183

This card made use of the bottom row across: scallops, mixed medium, fall colors.
This is a one layer card using a Colorful Life cloud stencil (the scallops). I used distress oxide inks and Copic markers for my mixed medium, and the fall colors for my fall tree.

Passion for Markers #655

My copic markers are my "go to" coloring tool and that is what I used to color this cute animal image I stamped with this Unity stamp. The sentiment is from Stampendous. I think it will make a super cute card for a child's birthday card or thinking of you card.  I created this with the Passion for Markers challenge #655 to use a cute animal as the subject. You can find the details of the challenge here:

Alphabet Challenge z is for zigzag

Made this Easter card with the criteria for the Alphabet Challenge with z for zig zag. I used this 3-D embossing folder with this zigzag weave, and then I cut a zig zag pattern from some designer paper. The rabbit is from Unity and colored with Copic markers. The little flowers were punched with an old mini paper punch from Creative Memories. The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. To get that weathered look on the pink embossed paper, I sanded over the texture with a sand block.

Details for the challenge can be found here:

Just Us Girls 575 Using an embossing folder

This card is for the Just Us Girls Challenge this week #575 to use an embossing folder. You can find the details of the challenge here:

http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com/2021/03/just-us-girls-575-trend-week.html

I started making some of my Easter cards, s I used this lovely 3:d embossing folder on this one. The sentiment is from Unity, the  embossing folder is from Sizzix, and the cross is a die from Impression Obsessions. The leaves are a small die, and the flowers are from an old Creative Memories mini punch I have had for over 10 years.
