Some of the most beautiful floral art pieces in my opinion are from the art of Marcela Hawley from Power Poppy. I fell in love with the work she once did for Flourishes, and now she is flourishing in her own business at Power Poppy. I embossed some pink dotted design paper, used the sketch for this week's sketch challenge over on Splitcoaststampers. I colored this image with colored pencils. The purple card base picked up the purples of the smaller flowers in this beautiful bouquet. Check out the details of this challenge here:

My Time to Craft - dry embossing
Using black cardstock I embossed and then rubbed over it with some white metallic paste of some sort. The paper is from an Echo Park pad. Then I punch flowers and leaves to add for a pop of color.

Sweet Stampin challenge - Things with Wings
This card I did for the Sweet Stampin' Challenge using things with wings. There are birds on the design paper I used and I die cut a bird to add as well. This sentiment was included with the design paper pad (Echo Park Follow with Faith ) and I punched some mini flowers with a Creative Memories mini punch. I am trying to make more slimline cards and thought this made a cute one! You can check out the details of this challenge here:
TGIF what would you do 422
This is what I did with a navy background for the current TGIF challenge. I used a navy piece of design paper for the background, I stamped these images from Tim Holtz and mounted onto red squares. I used this ribbon I found at my local Dollar Tree. The sentiment is from Stampendous. I used Versafine Clair black ink for my stamping. All of this was mounted on a red card base. Just Us Girls Challenge CAS
I love silhouette cards and used this rooster silhouette for this week's Just Us Girls CAS challenge to use a silhouette. I leave a lot of white on my CAS cards, and I usually make them one layer cards. I stenciled using a Gina K stencil, the silhouette stamp is from Impression Obsessions and the sentiment is from Unity. I like supporting all my favorite stamping suppliers and usually use many different ones together on a card. Check out the details for this challenge here:
Can You Handle the Pressure - birds or birdhouses

I embossed my white card base with an embossing folder from Darice. The die I used was by Momenta, and the sentiment from Stampendous. I colored the leaves and tree limb with copic markers and I recut the die onto blue paper for the bird image.

I used dies from Impression Obsessions for this card, and stenciled a background with a Rubbernecker stencil. The ink used for the stenciling is distress oxide ink on a piece of design paper. A few gemstones were added for the decorations on the tree.

Christmas Throwdown Music
The theme for the Christmas Throwdown challenge is Music. So I used this musical score stamp from Our Daily Bread designs. I blended some distress oxide inks for the background and stamped the image with black versafine clair pad. The die is from Gina Marie!

Just Us Girls challenge 680
This is my card for the Just Us Girls challenge. I was inspired by the comfy chair and the map background. This chair and pillow stamp are from Unity. The background stamp is from an oldie in my stamp collection from Flourishes. The chair was paper pieced from a design paper. I used a black card base to mount this picture.

Peace on Earth Christmas challenge #39
I am way behind where I usually am with my Christmas card stash by May, so I will definitely need to pick up the pace. I love making a few of my cards with non-traditional colors for the season. So having a pile of pastel scraps left over from another card project, I decided this would go well with the challenge for the Peace on Earth challenge today.
