Anne Harmon here again as our hostess in the month of August. For our challenge this week, use either wet or dry embossing. Embossing adds so much to a card. Add some bling (glitter, gems, sequins, etc.)
This is a 3-D embossing folder from Spellbinder that I found recently at my local Tuesday Morning.
After I embossed the green cardstock, I rubbed my tattered rose distress oxide ink pad over the embossing. Then I tore a lighter green strip and embossed it the opposite direction in the folder.
This rose image is from an old retired set from Stampin' Up and I die cut the white frilly corners to add some accenting to the card. The rose is colored with Copic alcohol markers.
You added so much interest with the embossing running in both directions!! Lovely card.
ReplyDeleteStunner! Really beautiful card! I, like Anne, like the "opposite" embossing adding so much interest!
