Try it on Tuesday Challenge - summer blooms

I designed this slimline card for the Try it on Tuesday challenge to use a summer bloom on my card. I used design papers for the background and burgundy cardstock as my cardbase. Crazy is my fame and stenciling is my game - layered stenciling

I layered and re-layered my Colorful life leaf stencil and used various greens. I also used my Colorful Life dragonfly stencil  and the sun from another Colorful Life stencil. I used distress oxide inks for my stenciling and the verse is from Impression Obsessions and is stamped in versafine clair black ink. I love that this is a single layer of paper.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge- Pretty in pink

The other night I made about 10 layouts for card fronts with left over scraps. They are fun to coordinate and then I just leave them available for an image to use to finish it off. I used this one today to do this pretty in pink challenge over at Sweet Stampin' this week. You can find the details of the challenge here:

Allsorts Challenge #732 birthdays

 

I love making layouts from my leftover scraps, and then make use of them as needed to complete a specific card or theme. So when I saw aa birthday theme for the Allsorts Challenge this week, I decided to complete this one as a birthday card.  The cake is from Unity stamps. I added a few punched flowers and leaves and added gemstones for the flower center and for the flower centers on the cake as well.

Little Red Wagon #708 Things that fly

       I made this card for the Little Red Wagon challenge this week #708 to use things that fly. I love making layouts from my scrap piles, and that is what I did for this card. Then I stamped my butterflies and made use of the colors I found in these design papers. I can always use another birthday card in my stash. You can find the details for this challenge here:
