It's always great to get some Christmas cards started early so I love these Christmas in July themes that help me get some done. This is for the Sweet Stampin' challenge this week. I embossed my light aqua card base with a 3-D embossing folder from Sizzix. I used a design paper scrap I had left over from a previous project and it helped me coordinate the colors I would use for this challenge card. On the white oval die cut panel (a Sizzix die), I stamped some turquoise leaves from a little Christmas set from Gina K. designs. The tree is a stamp and die set that is from the earlier years when I did not always label my sets with company information. I used turquoise distress oxide ink for the stamping. I used a die cut JOY in darker turquoise paper annd the final touch was the star gemstones. It's always fun to use some non-traditional Christmas colors just for fun.
