Vicky is taking her turn to play hostess for the month of July.

Since both Australia and the USA have red, white and blue for their colors, let's use those colors to make a card.  It does not have to be for a holiday, just red, white and blue....but, of course, if you send out patriotic cards, go for it!  Have a fun, creative day!

My sister, Lynn gave me this wonderful stencil recently and thought it perfect for a red, white, and blue background for this card. I used distress oxide inks and my fabulous make up brushes to apply the ink. I stamped my Unity girl onto a different piece of paper, colored it with copic markers and fussy cut it to add over it. I stamped the sentiment over the stenciled portion with versafine black.

  1. I love her striped shirt and the stencil in the bg!!!

  2. This is still my favorite Unity girl!! I love your wonderful stenciled background and her awesome patriotic shirt!!! Happy Birthday, America!!

  3. You rock, too, Liz! Love your card!
