Passon for Markers - digital challenge

This card I made from scraps left over from other projects and a digital from Power Poppy that I had colored last night to possibly use today for a project. So this turned out to be the project. I colored it with copic markers. I have as my goal to make it a Christmas theme for every challenge I am taking part in this week,
Here are the details for the Passion for markers challenge this week #666:

Retro challenge - Ombre

I love my 3-D embossing folders and inking them with distress shades of aqua seemed like a perfect way to do it. Since Christmas is quickly approaching, I wanted to make a Christmas card theme to add the the stash I need to be creating. After inking up the inside of my embossing folder, I ran it through my embossing machine. I used this cute snowman image from Rubbernecker and colored it with Copic markers. The sentiment is from Unity and I punched it out with a Stampin' Up punch.

International Art and Soul Challenge #146 - Christmas

So happy to be finding some Christmas challenges starting as it is time to get going on my card making that I do for Christmas every year. I make about 100 cards a year all during the year to keep up the count, and I very seldom make the same design twice. Here is one I designed this morning after being iinspired by a similar design I saw on the internet earlier this morning. I made it with kraft paper, design paper, and scraps. I used a heart die and a Christmas greenery die cut set from Momenta.
I will be contributing this card to the downloads for the challenge on International Art and Soul challenge where you can find the details of the challenge here:

Crafty Hazelnut Christmas challenge - H is for Holy Family

I made this card for the  Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge to use some thing that starts with H so I used the Holy family and their Halos. I used a piece of white paper that was embossed with a 3D embossing folder from Sizzix. Then I stenciled over it with my brand new star stencil from A Colorful Life, using blue distress oxide ink. I really love the way it turned out.  I used silver chrome paper and black cardstock for the die.

Details for this challenge can be found here:

CTD717

I used the Color Throwdown colors for this card today. I am trying to make a Christmas card with every challenge I am doing to get some of my Christmas cards done.

I used a Sizzix die for the poinsetttia to make a stencil. I used a stencil from Gina Marie for the swirly lines. I stamped the sentiment and added a little gold washi tape as my only embellishment.

CCEE2243 Walk your dog week

 Hi Crafty Friends

It's a brand new month with means it is time for a new hostess. It is Maryann here and I will be your hostess of the next few weeks.

According to the days of the year calendar, it is walk your dog week. Walk you dog week is a week holiday dedicated to bringing your dog a healthier lifestyle. Make a card with your furry friend in mind.

My son has a labradoodle so I colored this Mo Manning digital for my dog image. It is colored with copic markers. I used a Tim Holtz Idea-o-logy sentiment that says: "I meant to behave, but there were too many other options."

Check out the team cards here on the CCEE blog:

Fab N' Funky - Shades of Blue

Checking out the weekly challenges to see which ones can be Christmas cards. The Fab n' Funky challenge this week is to use shades of blue. So this design paper seemed to meet the challenge. I added these Spellbinder and Sizzix dies to complete the card. I added some gold chrome paper just to add to the gold foil on the paper. You can find the details of the challenge here:
