I wanted to try out some new stencils I just ordered from A Colorful Life, and tried to use colors that were close to these for the February 225C at Art Nudge. The rose stamp is a very old one from my old Stampin' Up collection. The sentiment is from Stampdendous. I used distress oxide inks for the blending for the stencil work, and I used Versamark Clair Black in for stamping the sentiment and images. I used alcohol markers for the coloring of the roses.

Festive Friday - #178
Little Red Wagon - Winter Blue
This was a fun card to make. I started by finding a piece of design paper from my stash with blues on it. Then I punt it through my big shot using a 3_D embossing folder from Sizzix. I sanded over it to get the underlayer of white paper to come up. It did not pop like I thought it would so I rubbed some blue distressed oxide ink over the embossing. I liked the look and that it added more blue to my paper. I die cute 3 other snowflakes out using a different design paper. I found a gold glittered snowflake in my stash and added it under a smaller die cut snowflake. I added some clear crystal gems to the centers. The sentiment is a Tim Holtz sentiment strip.

Also,Assorts Challenge #817 has a theme of blue as well. So entering this card in that challenge as well.

As You See it - Pastel Celebration
I made this card for the upcoming celebration of Easter for the As You See it celebration called Pastel Celebration. I used this pretty page of pastel printed design paper and stamped these little adorable girls from an image from Unity Stamps directly onto the design paper. I colored the image with copic markers. I added this ribbon bow and a wet embossed sentiment. The sentiment (from Spellbinder) is inked with Versamark and I used white Ranger embossing powder For the punched butterflies I used was a little mini butterfly punch from Creative Memories, which is an old and a favorite in my punch collection. This makes me so ready for spring to come.
Tic Tac Toe #264
I used a love sentiment, an embossing folder that had a frame design, and used both dry and heat embossing on this card. The embossing folder is from Sizzix, the stamp is from Unity, and the love die is from Impression Obsessions I think. The wet embossing was done with white embossing powder on kraft paper.

This was a great week to build up some stashes for friend cards, the ones I send out the most for no reason at all. Things that start with F was the theme for the challenge over on Can You Handle the Pressure. I used an embossing folder with a fleur de lei pattern (Sizzix)
and a background stamp was called flannel plaid from Stampin' Up. I used a floral designed card base from Paper Studio as my base and also cut some of the flowers from one of the similar card bases I had on hand. All these fabulous "F" things helped make this fabulous friend card to put in my stash.

They were kind of my play friends when I was by myself. LOL So, I just had to have this stamp. This card really came together easily. Everything but the largest daisy was stamped to the card base. I stamped it on another piece of paper, cut it out and added it with a dimensional. You can find the details to this challenge here:
