CCEE2001 June in January

January 2 – It’s June in January Some of our fans may not realize that two of our CCEE Stampers Design Team Members are living down under in Australia. Their seasons are the exact opposite of ours. They have always gone with the flow and designed cards to conform to our climate. Let’s turn the tables this week and make some summery cards they can put to use right now! Bring on the heat!

(Hostess: Lynn McAuley)

I stamped my snowman onto tan like sand, and altered it a bit to be a"sand babe", singing that old song,,,,,Mr. Sandman! I went a little crazy with my creating and putting many of my summery stamps together for this scene. I promise I did not drink too much new year champagne although one might think that I have!!!!

  1. Oh, Liz...this is adorable! Fun, fun, fun...now my head is singing than song. For those of you who don't recognize it, Mr. Sandman " (sometimes rendered as " Mister Sandman ") was a popular song written by Pat Ballard which was published in 1954 and first recorded in May of that year by Vaughn Monroe & His Orchestra and later that same year by The Chordettes and The Four Aces.....and, yes, I DO remember it!! LOL!

  2. I love your fabulous sandman, Liz!! He seems to be having a ball at the beach and he doesn't have to worry about melting!! What a great card for this first challenge of 2020!
