My favorite subject in school was band. It was there that I learned not only to read music, play the flute, and in addition to that gave me a lifetime appreciation of music that has brought me many wonderful ways I have enjoyed using it. I learned to play the guitar on my own and have loved leading music over the last 20 years for Prison Ministry groups. The quote says, "Where words fail, music speaks."

I am so jealous of your amazing musical talent. It has taken you so many remarkable places and allowed you to touch many a heart! You rock, Liz!! Your card, like your soul, is truly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, Liz! And I'm impressed that you taught yourself how to play the guitar.
ReplyDeletePerfect images for your love of music. My parents were accomplished musicians, but I got none of their ability. I really envy it in others. Good for you, mf!!!
ReplyDeletePerfection!!! My mom played the organ and we played "Name that Tune" almost every other night. I can't whistle a tune, but she made me love music. I take my aunt to the VA Hospital and she plays lunch music for the vets...I can name almost every tune! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteStrike up the band - your card is getting a standing ovation! Wow! This is a gem. My daughters were in chorus and always singing with the concert and orchestra. Love your card and the softness of it - bravo!
