Balloons and Birthdays just go together

You can find the details for the Can you handle the pressure challenge here:

I embossed the card. Stamped the cat  and balloons from Unity stamps. Colored them with alcohol makers. I fussy cut the cat and balloons and attached them to the embossed card. I mounted all of this onto a gray card base.

This also met the criteria for the Allsorts Birthday challenge #831. The details for that challenge are here: https://allsortschallenge.blogspot.com/2025/08/challenge-831.html

Just us Girls 790 and Just Add Ink 766

I used two stencils from A colorful life designs for the stencil work on this card. Then I stamped this coffee cup over part of it and colored it with alcohol markers and colored pencils. I used 4 colors of distress oxide inks for the stenciling part. This is also a one layered card, which meets the criteria for the Just Add Ink challenge as well with details for the challenge found here:

C.R.A.F.T. challenge 762 - Christmas

This is the {BYSHC} sketch challenge #60 for August and the month is about to end so since this was such a fun challenge , I made one more entry. I am also using this card for the C.R.A.F.T. #762 challenge, the theme being Christmas.
The linky for the C.R.A.F.T. challenge can be found here:

This stamp is from a very old retired set from SU that I have had in my collection since my days of being an SU demonstrator. It just seemed so perfect for this card. I used kraft cardstock for the card base, and all the other papers are design papers from my stashes. I stamped the image in versafine clair black ink and colored it with colored pencils.  The sentiment is from Creative Worship stamps.

Inkspirational challenge - God is Love tag #349

I had this tag sitting around for quite some time on my work desk, so today, I decided to add it to a slimline card for another entry for the Inkspirational challenge this week. I had stamped the rose stamp with versamark and then covered with white embossing powder on this kraft tag. I love white embossing powder and white gel pen as a contrast on the kraft paper. I water colored the image to add color. The surrounded white gel pen lines are some free handed zentangling I did. The sentiment is stamped in black versafine clair ink. I mounted it to a background panel of embossed kraft paper that came that way in the pad. I added the white dots. I used a rose pink cardstock as the card base. I added ribbon in the hole in the tag.

As You See it - Lively leaves 355

This was a speed and CAS card for the As You See it challenge with the theme - Lively Leaves.

I stenciled these leaves in about a minute and a half with a blending brush and distress oxide citrus green ink. The flowers were punched with a Martha Stewart punch for my stash using a pink scrap. That was a quick process and with my hand new pick-up tool from Taylor Express that I got for my birthday from my sister, that was a really quick and easy process. I added a quick center with a dot from an alcohol marker. Total time was 5 minutes or less. The sentiment is from Verve (who are not longer in business). The leaf stencil is from A Colorful Life.

Botanical tag

This card was made for two Saturday challenges:
The Splitcoaststampers' Inspiration challenge which was to find inspiration on the Botanical Arts Co. blog, and for the Inkspirational Challenge, which the challenge was to use a tag on your card.
Here are the links for these two challenges:

I used a digital from Power Poppy because Marcella Hawley is just the best botanical themed artist there is. I colored the image with alcohol markers. I used two Sizzix die cuts: the tag and the lace. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz ideology sentiment tablet.  The card base is light pink cardstock, and I used white papers for the tag and lace. The background papers are design papers. I added a wired ribbon and pearls as embellishment.

Word Art Challenge weeks #712-713

I made this card for Word Art Wednesday using the featured scripture for the week from                     Deuteronomy 32:4. I made use of some scrap paper I left over from another challenge  and printed out this week's scripture on my computer. I die cut it with an oval cut and made a gold chrome mat for it, I added the die cut flowers and punched leaves as a little color since the colors of the card were mainly gray and white. I used gray for my card base color.
You can find this scripture and the details of the challenge here:

I added sparkle gel pen to the wings.

Summer fun and activities

I finally learned how to make one of these cards, and since "summer fun" seem to be a popular theme this month for many of the challenges, I made this card using ocean related items on the design paper to make this card to enter some of them (the list will be included at the end of this post.) I used some design paper from Bo Bunny that I found in my stash. The shells and sentiment is from a set from Stampin' Up. I think sea shell collecting is the perfect summer activity for some fun in the sun!

So here are the challenges I am entering this card into:

My Time to craft #565

The My Time to Craft Challenge #565 is to use 2 or more design papers. I used 2 different ones for this card I created today:

The skates, greenery and bow and sentiment are all Sizzix dies. I glued my stripes to a white card base. I added a gteen gemstone in the middle off the O off Joy! This was a quick and easy card especially since I had the skates already made and set aside when I needed a quick card. You can find the details of this challenge here:
