Can you handle the pressure? Fall/harvest

This card was made for the fall/harvest challenge over on the Can You Handle the Pressure challenge this week. I used a Darice embossing folder and then I smeared one of my neutral distress oxide ink pads over it so it would pick up the embossing pattern better. The moon is a die cut circle of gold chrome cardstock. I used burnt orange as the base for this card. The holes are a die cup and I backed it with black. I cannot remember the source of this pumpkin stamp, but it is absolute favorite that I have had for over 15 years. I got it at a stamp shop here in Houston way back when. I stamped all my stamping in versafine clair black and I colored it with colored pencils. I went over it with an alcohol blending pen.  The sentiment is from an old retired Stampin'Up set. The bats are from an Hampton Arts halloween set.

Double D challenge

I save my backgrounds that don't quite turn out right in my stash pile. When seeing what I had that could be a possibility for the challenge on the Double D,  and found this background I had made with distress oxide inks. Some of it was stamped with stamps, some of it was  smashed on with crumpled plastic wrap, and some of it was stenciled. I added the stenciling with the lavender colored inks to match the lavender cardbase. The sentiment is from Creative Worship Stamps, the die cut is from Darice (I think). Details for challenge can be found here:

C.R.A.F.T. challenge 762 - Christmas

This is the {BYSHC} sketch challenge #60 for August and the month is about to end so since this was such a fun challenge , I made one more entry. I am also using this card for the C.R.A.F.T. #762 challenge, the theme being Christmas.
The linky for the C.R.A.F.T. challenge can be found here:

This stamp is from a very old retired set from SU that I have had in my collection since my days of being an SU demonstrator. It just seemed so perfect for this card. I stamped the image in versafine clair black ink and colored it with colored pencils.  The sentiment is from Creative Worship stamps.

Inkspirational challenge - God is Love tag #349

I had this tag sitting around for quite some time on my work desk, so today, I decided to add it to a slimline card for another entry for the Inkspirational challenge this week. I had stamped the rose stamp with versamark and then covered with white embossing powder on this kraft tag. I love white embossing powder and white gel pen as a contrast on the kraft paper. I water colored the image to add color. The surrounded white gel pen lines are some free handed zentangling I did. The sentiment is stamped in black versafine clair ink. I mounted it to a background panel of embossed kraft paper that came that way in the pad. I added the white dots. I used a rose pink cardstock as the card base. I added ribbon in the hole in the tag.

As You See it - Lively leaves 355

This was a speed and CAS card for the As You See it challenge with the theme - Lively Leaves.

I stenciled these leaves in about a minute and a half with a blending brush and distress oxide citrus green ink. The flowers were punched with a Martha Stewart punch for my stash using a pink scrap. That was a quick process and with my hand new pick-up tool from Taylor Express that I got for my birthday from my sister, that was a really quick and easy process. I added a quick center with a dot from an alcohol marker. Total time was 5 minutes or less. The sentiment is from Verve (who are not longer in business). The leaf stencil is from A Colorful Life.

Word Art Challenge weeks #712-713

I made this card for Word Art Wednesday using the featured scripture for the week from                     Deuteronomy 32:4. I made use of some scrap paper I left over from another challenge  and printed out this week's scripture on my computer. I die cut it with an oval cut and made a gold chrome mat for it, I added the die cut flowers and punched leaves as a little color since the colors of the card were mainly gray and white. I used gray for my card base color.
